About Our Puppies and Breeding Program

        Mountain Plains Kennel takes pride in producing top quality labrador retriever puppies from parents of sound genetic stock resulting in healthy puppies.

           We focus on parents from top producing and performing dogs that have proven to be very trainable.  This results in providing you with a high energy puppy, yet highly trainable, with plenty of desire and birdiness in the field.  Along with these work ethics and traits, our puppies make great companions and devoted family members. 

        All this attention to detail means that whether you are looking for a field trial/hunt test competitor, a hunting dog with high desire, and a new family member, our puppies will fit your needs.

        To reserve a puppy, we require a $250 deposit.  The deposit is applied toward the purchase price of the puppy.  This is a non-refundable deposit unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

        Mountain Plains provides each new owner with up-to-date health records and information to help you get started with your new 4-legged family member.  Your puppy will come with a Health Guarantee, feeding information, reading references, AKC registration, UKC/HRC material and information.
