Our Property

Training Grounds & Facilities

Mountain Plains Kennel is a training facility located in western South Dakota on the north edge of the Black Hills.  We offer customized training programs to fit your overall goals and designed to fit the personality and abilities of your retriever. 

Your dog will be trained on 150 acres of rolling hills with 6 technical ponds and 2 sources of running water.  Because of this unique property, we are able to duplicate hunting and training needs with these diversified grounds.

We just completed construction of a 5200 sq foot kennel with indoor/outdoor runs and heated floors during the winter months.

We also offer boarding which can include conditioning your dog while being boarded.
